Free to use
The tools are free. You don’t need an account, there is no watermark, and there is no limit on how many times you use them. The file size limits listed on each tool page (for example, 20 MB per file) keep your browser responsive; they are not usage caps.
Your files and your rights
Your files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. You are responsible for having the right to use the subtitle and video files you open with the tools, and for how you use the results. Downloaded subtitles from other sources may be protected by copyright.
Check the results
We test the tools carefully, but subtitle files vary a lot. Always check a result before you rely on it, and keep your original file: the tools never change your original; they create a new file for you to download.
No warranty
The website and the tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t promise that the website will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SubTailor and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or its results, including lost data, lost time or lost revenue.
Acceptable use
Please don’t use the website in a way that harms it or other people: no attempts to break into or overload it, no automated mass requests, and no copying of the website itself to present it as your own service.

Translations of these terms are provided for convenience only. If a translation differs from this English version, the English version prevails.
Changes
We may update these terms. When they change, the date at the top of the page changes too. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
